A Barghest is a mythical creature that typically appears as a large, black dog with glowing amber eyes. They are believed to stalk crossroads at night. When sighted by passersby, they are a harbinger of death. Some claim Barghests descend from Hellhounds and have two forms: one hound and one human.
My Crossroads Keeper series features a Barghest shifter with Hellhound ancestry. He is Guardian of the San Antonio Crossroads and Protector of the Crossroads Keeper who is oath-bound to serve it.
Conor appears in his human form as a tall, darkly handsome man with black hair and piercing, amber-colored eyes. His newbie Keeper, Alex, is distracting in all the right ways, but can they risk a relationship when the Crossroads they are bound to is in divine danger?
